Studio I at the Brewery Arts Complex

Dystopian Studios I is a unique, versatile boutique studio located near downtown Los Angeles in the world famous Brewery Arts Complex. Featuring a number of unique sets and backgrounds, it is ideally suited for small and medium sized shoots (less than 10 people.) Excellent for glamour, fashion, headshots, fine art, product, cosplay, pinup and much more.

It is a ground floor loft studio with a loading zone directly in front of the door. The studio is fully climate controlled and has plentiful free parking right outside the studio door.

8 AM – 10 PM (earlier/later hours may be available, please inquire.)

Long term/multiple day bookings with safe, secure equipment storage are available, inquire for rates.

Features

• 1550 square foot total, 1025 sq ft downstairs shooting area. 525 square foot upstairs area includes make-up stations, changing area, full bath, full kitchen and additional shooting areas.
• Fully climate controlled/air conditioned/heated space

• Motorized 9′ wide green, white, and black seamless screens. Huge 45′ backaway distance to seamless.  Colored seamless also available to rent.
• White walls can be dressed/painted to suit your needs, inquire for painting/set building rates.
• High speed internet suitable for streaming
• Totally private creative space. No other shoots or studio managers looking over your shoulders. The space is all yours.
• Studio I is a quiet studio. No loud music, yelling, shouting or other such noise permitted. Music can be played quietly (residential noise levels only) 
• Absolutely no shooting outside the studio (parking areas or grounds) permitted. All shooting must occur in studio.

Rates

Standard shoot (up to 5 people on set)     $35/hour (2 hour minimum)

Large group (6-10) surcharge      $5/hour

4 hour rental:   $115 total

8 hour rental:   $180 total

12 hour rental:    $230 total

Google maps will get you to the complex, not the studio door, follow the below instructions

1. Enter through guard gate halfway down Moulton Avenue. Do not stop at guard or talk to guard unless he instructs you to do so. If he does, tell him you have an appointment and a reserved parking space

2. Turn right IMMEDIATELY after driving through gate.

3. Wind along street to green metal building, follow building to end at unit with purple fence.

4. There are 2 spots alongside the building, parallel to the cactus planter. Do not park in any other resident’ space or anywhere else except those 2 spots.
