Studio II PLUS at the Mill Arts Complex

Dystopian Studios II Plus is a versatile studio located near downtown Los Angeles. It includes the full use of Studio II (here) with an additional 1800 sq ft of backgrounds and sets, plus an additional large, 4 station make-up room. 

Excellent for fashion, glamour, headshots, music videos, product videos, fine art, product, cosplay, pinup and much more.

It is a ground floor studio with a 10′ wide entry door. It has plentiful street parking in front of the studio.

8 AM – midnight (earlier/later hours may be available, please inquire.)

Long term/multiple day bookings with safe, secure equipment storage are available, inquire for rates.

• Over 2 dozen individual set backgrounds to use during your shoot.
• Large 22′ wide x 14′ deep x 12′ high corner white cyclorama. The cyclorama is painted nightly and cleaned between shoots.
• 46 RGB LED individually controlled backlights on white cyclorama can quickly and easily change the color scheme
• Full strut based lighting grid over cyclorama
• Ceiling heights to 25′
• 14′ wide x 10′ deep x 12′ high black cyclorama
• Motorized 12′ wide green screen easily rolls up/down for quick access
• White walls can be dressed/painted to suit your needs, inquire for painting/set building rates.
• High speed internet suitable for streaming
• Multiple other backdrops and Hollywood flats to give a wide variety of options with each shoot
• 2 Person make-up station included. Optional 140 square foot, 4 station makeup room can be added at an additional charge.
• Large number of furnishings included with rental
• Totally private creative space. No other shoots or studio managers looking over your shoulders. The space is all yours.

Rates

Standard shoot (up to 5 people on set)     $45/hour (4 hour minimum)

Large group (10-15 people) surcharge      $5/hour

Extra Large group (15-20 people) surcharge$10/hour

For groups over 20, inquire for rates

4 hour rental:   $170 total

8 hour rental:   $250 total

12 hour rental:    $355 total
